Methodology
My teaching method is tailored specifically to the student I am working with. This is why I work with students individually rather than in a group, that way I can teach at the same pace in which the student learns. I focus on the student's weaknesses while encouraging their strengths and I work from the text they are using in school to better correlate my lessons with the lessons the student is taught in class. If there is no assigned text, I pick one on my own to teach from tailored to the student's grade. I help with assignments given to them by their teachers as well as help them understand general concepts that the student may be struggling with.
Background
I am a psychology major college student with two years of private tutoring experience to students in grades k-7, however, I am knowledgeable in teaching literature and writing for grades k-12. I graduated with Honors in all of my English courses throughout all four years of high school and achieved my first 3 credits for English 101 at Essex County College by my Junior year in high school.

Details
I offer a 100% refund if student's grades haven't improved by half a letter grade within the first 6 weeks. Due to Covid-19, tutoring by webcam will temporarily be the only option for safety reasons, therefore the price is lower.
