About Monia

I’m a fully qualified English teacher with over 14 years of experience teaching English. Since 2010, I’ve helped students of all abilities by finding the approach that suits them best. I believe in combining positive encouragement with structured, goal-focused support so students feel confident, capable, and ready to succeed.

Qualifications & Safeguarding:

*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
*Advanced DBS checked and current on the update service each year
*Up-to-date Safeguarding Training

About the lesson

My teaching style is flexible, supportive, and results-driven. Each session is shaped around the student’s needs, drawing on a wide range of resources and techniques from my classroom experience.

Lesson length: 30 minutes - 2 hours

Focus areas include:
*GCSE and iGCSE English preparation (AQA, Cambridge, Edexcel)
*11 Plus and entrance exam support
*Homework help and study coaching
*Transition support (Primary ➝ Secondary)

Every lesson is designed to give students clear, practical takeaways they can apply immediately so they leave with a sense of progress and purpose.
