About Suzanne
I studied Political Science and Russian at Columbia University, and now work at a tech consulting firm. I was a National Merit Scholar and remember well the pressures of essay writing and test taking in order to achieve your dreams. I enjoy learning how my students' think, and supporting them as they hone their communication skills.
My two passions in life are my dogs and iced coffee!

I am passionate about taking the stress out of English courses for tweens and teens, and helping them develop their ability to effectively express their own thoughts, as well as critically analyze information that they encounter.I often find it helpful to talk through a problem text or writing prompt to reach the core message, then break the answer down into steps and build a simple outline to work from. This applies to both writing (producing language) and reading comprehension (digesting content).
