About Nancy
I have had over 11 years of playing experience, both as a soloist and in classical ensembles. Ensembles include: Sheffield Senior flute choir, Sheffield Senior Orchestra, Newcastle University wind band, Newcastle University flute choir.
Grade 8 ABRSM Flute - a qualification i worked towards independently
Grade 5 ABRSM music theory
Newcastle university music performance module in my spare time
I have played alongside and mentoring young musicians as a part of Sheffield music hub and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire collaboration.

I am an extroverted and friendly person who loves working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
My lessons are geared towards beginner flute players. I work from the strong belief that the role of the tutor is to encourage a love for playing music. I offer classes both orientated around ABRSM grades as well as catering for the specific interests of the student. Although I am a classically trained musician, my primary focus is on the growing relationship between the musician and the music.
