About Caitlin
Hi! I'm Caitlin Miller. I am a current freshman at Marshall University majoring in Secondary English Education. I graduated high school in May from Greenbrier East. I have always been enthusiastic about teaching students, which led to me joining the Grow Your Own program in high school. I have experience tutoring kids my age as well as teaching in a 5th grade English classroom as just a senior in high school.

Depending on the type of help needed, we'll either start by A. Reading the student's assigned writing prompt B. Reading the student's assigned article/essay for analysis/comprehension. Next, we would start brainstorming some ideas for the essay. No idea is too out there! I want to help bring your student's creativity to life. If we are testing reading comprehension, I would then pause after every section to make sure the student is fully grasping the ideas of the text. Making sure they are arriving at these conclusions themselves! My classes are for anyone in middle or high school who needs some help amplifying their reading/writing skills. Whether it be for a specific lesson, state testing prep, etc. I am here to help! I am a current university student studying to be a middle/high school English teacher! I offer inexpensive rates and a relaxed environment for your student to learn without the anxiety of silently struggling on their own.
