About Navi
Hi, I’m a singing tutor with 10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Music. I specialize in teaching Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country styles, helping students explore their voice across a wide range of genres. My lessons are built on a balanced approach that blends solid technique with creative expression. I work with singers of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced vocalists—tailoring each session to their personal goals and strengths. We focus on developing vocal technique, breath control, range, and tone while also diving into performance skills and musical interpretation. I believe that every voice is unique, and my goal is to help students find and strengthen their own. In each lesson, I incorporate ear training, harmony work, improvisation, and music theory to build a complete understanding of singing and musicianship. This makes learning more meaningful and versatile, whether you're singing on stage or just for yourself. I also provide guidance on audition prep, stage confidence, and building a strong musical foundation. We start with vocal tone shaping—learning how to control breath, resonance, and placement to unlock your natural voice. Song interpretation is a key part of the process. I guide students in expressing emotions and meaning through phrasing, dynamics, and storytelling.
We explore different musical genres to help you find the styles that suit your voice best. This also builds versatility and keeps the journey exciting. Improvisation exercises allow for creative growth and help students break free from rigid singing habits.
I use practical tools like lyric analysis sheets and vocal journals to track your growth and deepen self-awareness. Melody trainers and DAWs (digital audio workstations) support pitch control, harmony practice, and even basic recording skills.
