I’m a passionate singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater Voice. I’ve had the pleasure of working with students of all levels—school-aged learners, college students, and adult or professional singers. My lessons are always personalized to fit each student’s voice, goals, and musical interests. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for performances and auditions, I’m here to support your growth. I specialize in a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, movie songs, and folk. My teaching method for developing confident performers focuses on helping each student own the stage with clarity and charisma. For singers who thrive in group settings or love solo storytelling, I guide them in mastering microphone technique, stage presence, and audience connection. We work on breath control, vocal projection, and clean diction to ensure every word lands with impact. Posture and body alignment are also key, especially for reducing tension and supporting a strong vocal tone in live settings.
I use curated song selections to suit each student's style and vocal range, helping them build self-belief and emotional connection. Movement exercises and physical warm-ups help free the body, encourage natural expression, and prevent stiffness during performance. We use video feedback so students can reflect on their posture, gestures, and engagement from an audience’s point of view. Stage presence drills make stepping into the spotlight feel familiar and fun.
For those in ensembles or folk-inspired settings, we also focus on group dynamics, timing, and vocal blending. I introduce vocal stamina apps and guided routines to help students strengthen their voices and prevent fatigue during longer sets. Every lesson is a safe space to explore, take creative risks, and grow as a performer. By combining technical skills with emotional storytelling, I help students become engaging and unforgettable on stage.
