About Damon
I am a dedicated singing tutor with 10 years of experience, passionate about helping students of all levels discover and develop their unique voice. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching between 200 to 300 students, guiding them through vocal techniques, stage confidence, and expressive performance. My teaching approach is rooted in personalised learning—I take time to understand each student’s voice, goals, and learning style to create lessons that truly fit them. I focus on building a strong foundation in breath control, pitch, tone, and musicality while encouraging creativity and self-expression. I also specialise in different vocal styles including classical, pop, R&B, choir, and more. My unique skills include choir direction, beatboxing, and music theory, which I blend into lessons to make learning rich and engaging. I’m committed to helping each student grow not only as a singer but also as a confident performer and passionate music lover.

My teaching strategy for singing is based on compassion, empathy, and a flexible approach that adapts to each student’s unique learning style. I believe that every voice is different, and my goal is to help students discover and develop their natural sound with confidence. I create a supportive and open environment where students feel safe to express themselves, explore new techniques, and grow at their own pace. Clear communication is key—I make sure students understand each concept fully while encouraging questions and feedback. I focus on vocal technique, breath control, tone, pitch, and performance, always matching the lesson to the student’s goals and style—whether it's classical, choir, pop, or R&B. I also use exercises, real songs, and performance practice to make learning more engaging and practical. Alongside singing, I can teach music theory, choir direction, beatboxing, and more. My aim is to inspire passion, confidence, and musical growth in every student.
