About Zara
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and bring seven years of teaching experience across a wide range of learners. My teaching style is both structured and encouraging, making sure students gain technical ability while also feeling motivated and confident in their unique voice. Beyond tutoring, I remain active as a performer and continuously seek professional development through workshops and collaborations. Staying involved in the music community ensures I bring current methods, performance tips, and fresh inspiration into lessons, keeping my teaching both relevant and dynamic. What drives me most as a tutor is helping students uncover their individual sound and develop confidence in their abilities. I adapt lessons to suit each learner’s strengths and challenges, celebrating progress along the way. My goal is to nurture both vocal skills and a lasting passion for music.

My lessons begin with essential foundations such as proper posture, controlled breathing, and gentle vocal warm-ups. These practices strengthen vocal health, extend range, and improve pitch accuracy. Students learn to manage their voice with consistency, allowing them to develop a solid base for confident singing across different genres. As students progress, I introduce key areas like diction, phrasing, and expression through songs selected according to their interests. Whether classical pieces, contemporary hits, or musical theatre, this approach connects technical skills with artistry, helping learners deliver performances that are both technically sound and emotionally engaging. Each lesson is designed around the individual’s personal goals, whether preparing for auditions, building stage presence, or simply enjoying singing as a creative outlet. With constructive feedback, clear guidance, and consistent encouragement, I ensure progress feels rewarding, supportive, and tailored to the student’s musical journey.
