About Skye
Hello! I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music, majoring in Voice. I specialize in working with students preparing for auditions, competitions, and live stage performances. My lessons are designed to strengthen technique while building confidence and artistic presence. I teach a range of styles including Classical, Broadway, Pop-Rock, and Musical Theater, tailoring each session to the student’s goals and strengths. With a strong focus on diction, range development, vocal agility, and dramatic interpretation, I help singers perform with clarity and emotional impact. We also work on smart repertoire selection to showcase the best of your voice. I’ve taught school students pursuing music programs, drama majors preparing for roles, and adult singers rediscovering their passion for performance. I understand the pressure of the stage and offer tools to manage nerves and connect with an audience. My goal is to help each student grow in skill and self-expression. Together, we’ll build the vocal technique, stage presence, and artistry you need to truly shine.

We begin with breathing exercises and vocal warm-ups designed to release tension and support healthy, sustainable singing.
Students benefit from customized techniques that blend creativity with structure. I help intuitive players connect their ear to their voice, turning instinct into control. For those with formal training, we dive deeper into tone shaping, dynamics, and advanced phrasing.
We use tools like ear training apps for pitch matching, metronomes for rhythmic precision, and recording devices to track progress and hear real growth. Vocal health routines—hydration habits, posture checks, and cooldowns—are part of every lesson.
I encourage expressive singing by exploring emotions in lyrics, tension and release, and phrasing that tells a story. Through steady support and honest feedback, students grow not only in skill but in belief in their voice. My goal is to help each singer sound like their truest, most confident self.
