About Naomi
I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. My passion lies in helping students build vocal confidence and overcome performance anxiety. I believe that connecting emotionally with a song brings it to life, and I guide my students to find that connection in their singing. I teach a variety of styles, including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship. Breath control and expressive phrasing are some of my strengths, and I emphasize vocal health to ensure my students sing safely and effectively. I also offer live performance coaching to prepare students for the stage with confidence. Whether you’re a shy beginner, a teen performer, or an aspiring recording artist, I tailor my lessons to your needs. I understand that every voice is unique and deserves to shine. Together, we work step-by-step to develop your technique and your own style. My goal is to help you find your voice and enjoy the journey of musical self-expression. For The Orchestra Member, building strong music literacy is essential. We focus on reading notation clearly, practicing interval training, and mastering rhythm exercises to support their ensemble work. Steady practice helps develop a seamless ear-mind-voice connection, allowing them to follow complex scores with confidence. Sight-singing apps and notation tools reinforce these skills outside of lessons, making learning interactive and fun.
The Crossover Artist benefits from combining classical technique with contemporary styles. Interval training sharpens their pitch accuracy, while rhythm exercises improve timing across genres. Harmony building is key here, enabling them to blend or improvise creatively. Using rhythm trainers and sight-singing apps, they steadily build musical intuition and versatility.
Both personas progress by connecting what they see, hear, and sing, creating a strong foundation for lifelong musicianship. Encouragement and consistent practice ensure steady improvement, turning challenges into joyful milestones.
