About Zane
I’m a singing tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice, specialising in vocal performance. My teaching approach is holistic, blending physical alignment, breath awareness, and expressive singing. I incorporate yoga-inspired vocal warm-ups, body mapping, and tension release techniques to help students find ease and freedom in their voice. I believe that a well-aligned body supports healthy singing and opens the door to deeper emotional expression. My lessons focus on nurturing this connection, so each student can sing with both power and relaxation. I’m passionate about exploring genres like World Music, Chanting, Folk Fusion, and Healing Sound, bringing a rich variety of styles into my teaching. Through these practices, I encourage students to see their voice as a tool for well-being and creative freedom. Singing becomes more than technique—it’s a way to connect with yourself and the world around you. I love guiding learners to discover their unique sound while promoting health and joy in their practice. My teaching approach focuses on building strong vocal skills while encouraging creative expression. I cover harmony singing, microphone technique, and vocal improvisation to help students develop versatility and confidence. Pop and R\&B stylisation are key parts of my lessons, where I guide singers to master the nuances that make these genres unique. I work well with students at different stages—from those just starting out to those ready to refine advanced skills. For beginners, I focus on building a solid foundation with clear, simple exercises and lots of encouragement. For more experienced singers, I help refine technique and expand creative freedom. I emphasise breath control, vocal tone, and stage presence to prepare students for performances and recordings. My lessons include practical tips for using microphones effectively and singing harmonies with precision. Each session is fun, supportive, and tailored to individual goals. I believe every singer can grow with the right guidance and mindset. My goal is to help you find your unique voice and express yourself fully through song.
