About Charlotte

Hi there! I am an easygoing and calm educator who believes that learning should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I bring both knowledge and enthusiasm to my lessons. I believe in making learning engaging through interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and real-world connections. Most importantly, I always believe in my students—helping them recognize their potential and guiding them toward success. I am a supportive and passionate tutor who is dedicated to making learning enjoyable.

About the lesson

With a bachelor's of science in anthropology and sociology and hands-on experience as a teaching assistant at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi, I bring a well-rounded and engaging approach to tutoring. My teaching methodology is student-centered, focusing on interactive learning, critical thinking, multisensory techniques, and real-world applications.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my techniques to suit individual needs—whether through discussion-based lessons, hands-on activities, or structured exercises. I am currently obtaining my master's in education, with a focus on teaching English and Humanities subjects.

Lessons typically run for 45 minutes to an hour depending on the age group, allowing ample time for instruction, practice, and review. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore new ideas.

I offer tutoring for English-related studies, including reading and writing comprehension, essay writing skills, literature analysis, and much more. I also offer tutoring for the Social Sciences, including history, economics, and geography. I primarily service learners at the upper elementary level. I have experience working with children at the 1–5 grade levels as well as some experience working with middle and high school level students.

Whether a student needs help strengthening foundational skills, tackling challenging coursework, or developing critical thinking abilities, I am committed to guiding them toward academic success.
