About Ruby

I have been teaching singing for 8 years and it has been the most joyful journey of my life. Music has always been my passion, and sharing it with young learners brings me great happiness. I teach students from school to college and help them find their voice—both in music and in life. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and focused on building confidence. Whether it’s preparing for a school concert, a college performance, or just learning to sing for fun, I guide my students step-by-step. One of my proudest moments was when one of my students, who once feared singing in public, went on to perform in front of 1,000 people. My goal is to help every student believe in themselves. With practice, patience, and the right guidance, anyone can sing beautifully. I feel lucky to be part of my students’ musical journey.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for singing focuses on making learning real, practical, and enjoyable. I believe singing is not just about hitting notes but about expressing yourself and connecting with others. To help my students, I use real-life examples and case studies that show how singing is used in daily life, performances, and professional settings.

This helps students understand the importance of singing skills beyond the lesson room. Motivation is at the heart of my teaching. I encourage students to set clear goals and celebrate small successes to keep them excited about learning. I create a supportive environment where everyone feels confident to try new things and grow. Collaboration is also very important. Singing often happens with others—whether in a choir, band, or group. I include activities where students can work together, share ideas, and learn from each other. This teamwork builds confidence and improves musical skills.

Creativity is encouraged in every lesson. I guide students to explore different styles, write their own lyrics, and develop their unique voice. Problem-solving is part of learning to sing well. I help students understand their vocal challenges and find practical solutions, such as improving breath control or pitch. Apart from singing, I can teach related subjects like music theory, ear training, and performance skills. My goal is to provide a well-rounded music education that supports every student’s growth. In summary, my teaching combines real-life learning, motivation, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. I believe this approach helps students develop both skills and confidence, making their singing journey enjoyable and successful.
