About Geoff
I am a lifelong learner with a passion for knowledge across many subject areas, I want to share the joy of learning with students of all ages.
As a nationally certified provider of speech-pathology services, I have thousands of hours of experience training others in techniques to help promote language and cognitive function. I believe these techniques can be useful for everyone!

Before we begin lessons together, I like to chat with my students about their academic interests and experiences to help develop a goal-driven lesson plan. Because each student is different, I tailor my approach to each individual's specific learning style and goals.
During a typical lesson, in addition to helping students understand and synthesize information in specific subject areas, I focus on teaching and training executive function skills for promoting academic, professional and personal success. These skills include planning, organization, problem-solving, focus, and mental flexibility.
