About Nina
I’m a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting, specializing in voice. I love combining traditional vocal techniques with modern technology like DAWs, vocal processors, and studio microphones. This helps my students prepare for vocal looping, live electronic performances, and creating beautifully layered vocal arrangements. My focus is on genres such as R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian music. I work closely with students on lyric interpretation, tone shaping, harmonies, and phrasing to bring out the emotion in every song. Whether you’re a hobbyist or an aspiring recording artist, I tailor lessons to meet your unique goals. I believe singing is storytelling, and every vocal choice helps tell that story. We dive into studio creativity, learning how to use technology to enhance your sound and stage presence. My teaching style is supportive and hands-on, encouraging exploration and confidence. My teaching approach centers on building a strong and healthy singing voice through solid foundational techniques. Breath control and diaphragmatic support are key focuses in every lesson. I guide students through exercises that improve stamina and help them sing longer without strain.
Maintaining vocal health is always a priority. I teach how to use the voice safely and effectively, avoiding common pitfalls that can cause damage. Each lesson includes tailored exercises that promote vocal stability and endurance.
I work closely with Suzuki students and orchestra members, providing them with dedicated practice routines to help them excel. Together, we develop control and confidence in their singing. My goal is to help students build a voice that is powerful, flexible, and resilient.
