About Rachael
One of my homeschool students I taught for six years was one of my most proud accomplishments. She struggled in math and proper sentence structure for a while. Yet she kept pushing herself to overcome her set backs. She graduated too at the top of her class and is now attending ASU studying to become a lawyer! Straights A's and taking over the world. The overwhelming amount of gratitude I feel is what makes me want to continue to teach. Knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life and give them the power to go above and beyond their own expectations is why I do what I do. I am in my second year at Grand canyon University. Studying to become a highschool English teacher. I have fifteen years in home schooling and I have worked as a teaching assistant for autistic children. I volunteered at a horse camp to teach disabled kids how to ride horses. From nanny to homeschooler I have worked in the field already for quite some time. With several success stories. I am a Christian in this modern world. I love to sing and write music. My passions include everything in nature. I find beauty in the creation. I want to encourage kids to follow their dreams and never give up. I believe that God wants me to be of service to the future generations.

I want to teach you to dig deep beneath the surface and find the writer inside of yourselves. Once you find out your true self and true talent and what makes you unique you will be able to express yourself in a formally, creatively and in an academically correct fashion. In life struggles will come up that we have to overcome. It is so important to know what steps to take to overcome these battles. Often the ability to cope is half the battle. With writing effectively you can utilize this tool to help with mental health, self expression and career success. Finding the voice within yourself and finding the courage to stand by your convictions. I am studying for a teaching degree at Grand Canyon University where I am constantly revising my worldview and practicing effective communication and critical thinking. All skills that would be implemented in my classroom.
