I believe learning is most effective when it is both interactive and personalized. I adapt my methodology to each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, whether that means focusing on the basis, grammar or pronunciation and phonetics. I use a mix of practical exercises, real-life examples, and interactive activities to ensure that students not only understand the concepts but also feel confident applying them.
A lesson usually begins with a short warm-up activity to engage the student and assess their mood and energy. We then move into the core part of the session, where I introduce or review a concept using clear explanations and examples. Students then practice the skill through guided exercises, discussions, or creative tasks. I always end the lesson with feedback, a recap of key takeaways, and optional suggestions for practice at home.
What makes me unique is my ability to combine structure with creativity. I bring in storytelling and games that make lessons memorable and enjoyable. My multilingual background (as a French and Korean) also helps me understand the challenges of learning a language from the learner’s perspective, which allows me to explain concepts in a clear and empathetic way.
My lessons are designed for a wide range of learners - from elementary students, as well as adults who want to improve their French for work, studies, or personal interest. I tailor lessons to each learner’s needs, whether that’s preparing for exams, building confidence in conversation, or mastering the language.
