About Sarah

I’m a highly qualified English tutor who has a proven track record (over the last 20 years) of helping students improve their English skills. Graduating in 2005, with a BA (hons) in English Literature, I then gained my PGCE and started teaching in 2006 at an SEN school. Later I moved to a mainstream school working with the full range of academic ability. Finally, I taught at an independent school gaining my Masters in Teaching and Learning from Bristol University, alongside my role of Head of English. I am committed to helping students succeed in this challenging subject, and work hard to ensure tutees achieve their full academic potential.

About the lesson

I am an experienced educator who is passionate about teaching. I specialise in English tutoring for KS3, GCSE, and A Level students and have extensive experience with exam boards such as AQA, OCR, and CIE. I strongly believe that every student has the potential to succeed and am committed to helping them achieve their goals. Through weekly hour-long sessions, whether online or in-person, I carefully guide tutees towards their own personal goals through assessment, discussion, and worked examples.
