About Victoria

With over a decade of teaching experience, I bring a personalized and student-focused approach to every lesson. I believe each student is unique, with their own strengths and talents, and I work to ensure this individuality is reflected in their academic progress. My goal is not just to help students understand content but to build confidence and help them express themselves clearly and effectively in exams and beyond. I teach Economics, Business Studies, Psychology, and English Literature across GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, IB, and university levels, and I also provide support in French and EFL. I’ve successfully assisted students with school entrance exams, personal statements, and managing academic stress. About the lesson

As a tutor, I take a student-centered, supportive, and results-driven approach tailored to each learner’s needs. Whether tutoring English, Business, Economics, or Psychology at GCSE, A-Level, or IB level, I focus on building understanding through clear explanation, real-world examples, and active engagement.

My teaching method involves breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts, using exam board-specific techniques, and incorporating past papers, model answers, and interactive discussions. I promote critical thinking and confidence, while reinforcing exam skills like timing, structure, and command word analysis.

A typical lesson begins with a short recap or review quiz, followed by focused instruction on a core topic, interactive exercises, and ends with assessment practice or feedback. I adapt each lesson based on student progress, using data and feedback to refine learning goals.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students, simplify challenging material, and align my teaching with what examiners expect. I’ve supported students from a wide range of academic levels—those needing foundational support and those aiming for top grades. I also mentor on coursework and internal assessments (IA/EE), helping students excel in both content and structure.
