About Geetika
I’ve been into teaching since 22 years for students from 4 yrs to 8 yrs. I have taught in international schools in Moscow and Dubai and now in london. I did private tutoring for children who had dyslexia and in ESL rooms where English was a secondary language Each-time seeing kids trying and learning with placing their finger on each word to seeing them become confident readers was a big achievement for me.

I would start with the phonics. Children who has English as a secondary language sometimes find it difficult to read even simple words. Eg. have a list of sight words, rhyme time, introduce them with flash cards and interesting ways to guess a word and even to spell them. Build their confidence in reading. Introduce them to the choice of books they would like.
