About Addison
Education is incredibly important to me, and I am currently more than halfway through my degree in public health. I have consistently maintained A's in English from elementary school through college. Having received multiple awards for my creative writing, I am able to help students tap into their creative side. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be a kindergarten reading tutor, a job I loved. Additionally, being in university has helped me improve my essay writing skills and develop a love for classical literature. I enjoy creating fun and engaging methods to help others remember characters and understand the deep themes in many books that are often considered too old to be relevant or interesting today.

When I was younger, I struggled with English, but thanks to my amazing tutor, I excelled rapidly and ended up at the top of my class. Inspired by this experience, I now help elementary school students succeed by using repetition, patience, and a personalized approach that meets each child's unique needs. With an extensive background in classical literature and creative writing, I can also help high school students prepare for college. For younger students, I write notes to guide their parents in providing additional support. For older students, I match their interests with books to encourage a love of reading.
