About Dahlia
With a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance and over 4 years of teaching experience, I bring passion and expertise to every lesson. I work with students of all levels, from school learners to seasoned professionals. My main focus is musical theatre and Broadway, where acting through song and stage presence define powerful performances. I emphasise belt technique, vocal agility, and confidence in tackling challenging repertoire. Ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory are integrated to create versatile, skilled musicians. Lessons are always personalised because no two voices are the same. Safe vocal practices are central to my approach, ensuring long-term growth and vocal health. Confidence building is a priority, as I believe singers perform best when they trust their abilities. My teaching style is supportive, interactive, and encouraging. Progress is celebrated, and creativity is welcomed. Singing is more than notes—it’s about expression, connection, and storytelling. Let’s embark on this journey together and prepare your voice for the Broadway stage.

My teaching approach is based on the belief that safe technique leads to long-term success. I guide singers of all levels, including soloists and ensemble players, to develop healthy and expressive voices. Lessons focus on stamina, breath management, and confidence. I train singers to manage the demands of frequent performances, rehearsals, or church services. Handling vocal fatigue is a major part of my method, with practical routines for recovery. Pre-performance preparation and post-performance care are always included. I support the soloist in training by building agility, stage presence, and storytelling ability. The church ensemble player learns balance, endurance, and how to blend without tension. Lessons are enriched with ear training, harmony, and music theory for complete musicianship. My sessions are interactive and encouraging, designed to support steady growth. Every student’s voice is treated with respect and care. I teach techniques that ensure singers can perform for years without damage. Preserve your voice, preserve your career.
