About Yuko

< EXPERIENCES AS A PERFORMER >

I am an experienced performer, having performed at renowned jazz clubs such as Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, the Vortex, 606 Club, The Spice of Life Soho and Richmix, as well as having toured globally.

< EXPERIENCES AS AN EDUCATOR >

I have an extensive experience in teaching all ages at all levels at schools, privately and in groups as well as running my own choir. I also specialise performance psychology and techniques for singing mindfully. I have a strong background in teaching with IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) for those who sings in English as a foreign language.

< MY CURRENT STUDENTS >

Some of my students are professional singer / actors / vocal coaches who wants to establish jazz singing techniques and improvisation techniques as well as touring singers. I also have some beginners where I offer my support in building confidence in singing and guiding them how to love their voice.

About the lesson

Hi everyone!

I offer inspiring lessons in a friendly and relaxing environment. We'll look into the vocal and musical techniques as well as emotional interpretations of songs to help create your own style. Individually tailored lessons will help you achieve your goals on your musical journey.

I completed the masters in Jazz Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and teach all ages at all levels. I also have 8 years experience in online teaching on a regular basis too!

I released my first album in '18 and toured globally so I understand the importance of showcasing your talent in public. I encourage my students/pupils to take part in my annual showcase / charity event with a live band too.
