Once you're feeling confident with those on the snare, try orchestrating the accents around the kit!

The song we worked on during the lesson is certainly challenging for a beginner with the quick tempo and various sections and changes. focus on groove and getting comfortable with each section of the song - work on one part at a time - with the main focus on keeping good time with the consistent backbeat on beats 2 and 4. Also work on the exercises we spoke about on the snare and around the toms (with a metronome) to increase your single stroke speed!
