Can I easily find a djembe class in the United States?

Over the past thirty or forty years in the US, a specific phenomenon has emerged: African dance and percussion culture is being widely spread through music and dance studios. With the rise in popularity, many people are signing up for classes in African music and dance. So let's not be surprised when we hear that the request for djembe courses is relatively high in the United States. The US took a very deep interest in this particular instrument especially during the 1964-1965 World Exhibition in New York, as it marked a striking contrast to local music.
