I am a retired elementary teacher who taught for 27 years in the classroom. I have always been committed to inspiring young people and engaging them in learning. Projects and presentations are a fun way to show what has been learned and help subject matter retention. I have been an elementary classroom teacher for 27 years and have recently retired. I began my career in Virginia and after 10 years in the York County School Division, moved to Florida to teach in some of the most prestigious private schools. I am a hands on facilitator who encourages and supports students, whatever their level of education. Prepares and delivers curriculum for elementary aged students that include language skill building, reading comprehension, math strategies and writing. I consult with parents and students regarding individual students needs and implement specific learning style instruction. I assist students in becoming more active and engaged learners as well as advancing their knowledge retention skills and study habits. As always, learning is fun!
