About Amber

Hi! I’m a singing tutor with 2 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Choral Conducting with a vocal emphasis. My passion is helping singers feel confident, creative, and technically prepared for the studio. I specialize in working with students who are preparing for professional recording sessions and want to master the demands of modern vocal production. From R&B and Pop to Hip-Hop and Electronic styles, I teach genre-specific vocal approaches that translate well on record. I guide students through everything from microphone technique and vocal compression to auto-tune awareness and phrasing for punch-ins. We also dive into layering harmonies, vocal stacking, and how to communicate effectively with producers during a session. I’ve worked with school-age vocalists, emerging artists recording their first singles, and adult singers preparing EPs or demos for commercial release. My lessons combine technical training with creative exploration, so students don’t just sing well—they sound like themselves on the mic. Whether you're working toward a polished demo or your first major project, I’ll help you build the tools and studio confidence you need. Together, we’ll shape your voice for recorded music while developing your unique sound. The studio should feel like a second home—and I’m here to help make that happen.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is focused on helping each student become a confident, expressive, and prepared performer. I offer comprehensive vocal training that supports growth in both technique and performance. Whether you're singing for fun, preparing for an audition, or building toward a professional goal, I tailor each lesson to meet your needs.

We’ll work on breath control, tone quality, pitch accuracy, and vocal strength. But just as important, we’ll focus on audition preparation, managing performance anxiety, and building strong stage presence. I help students choose the right repertoire that fits their voice, personality, and goals—whether it's for a school musical, talent show, worship team, or recording session.

My lessons include mock auditions and real-time coaching under pressure, so you're ready when it counts. I’m especially experienced in working with adult beginners who want a safe space to learn and grow. I also enjoy working with advanced teens who are ready to be challenged and pushed toward excellence.
