About Arden
I am a singing tutor with over 9 years of experience and hold an Advanced Diploma in Singing in Music. My work is dedicated to helping singer-songwriters refine their craft and bring their ideas to life. I believe every artist has a unique voice, and my role is to help shape it into something powerful and authentic. In lessons, I focus on vocal phrasing to make each performance feel expressive and memorable. I also guide students through lyric editing, helping them polish their words without losing their original intent. Harmony layering is another key element I teach, giving songs richness and emotional depth. For those exploring recording, I share practical home studio tips to make projects sound professional without requiring expensive setups. I specialize in working across genres like Indie Folk, Electro-Pop, Acoustic Soul, and Lo-Fi. Together, we explore how style and sound connect to identity, ensuring students stay true to themselves. Many of my students use our sessions to shape original music that feels authentic and ready to share. My teaching is about more than technique—it’s about finding your voice, refining your vision, and creating music that leaves a mark. For those preparing for auditions, I provide structured practice methods, mock performance sessions, and strategies for confidence under pressure. I also support singers who are starting later in life, offering patient guidance and encouragement to help them feel comfortable in their abilities. Ensemble singers benefit from work on blend, harmony, and balance, ensuring they shine while supporting the group sound.
