About Lauren
I have taught Elementary special education for 11 years, in 3 different states. I hold a Masters of Education in Special Education, and two Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. Since starting my career, I have had a special interest in dyslexia and ADHD. I became Wilson Certified since 2019 when I was at a loss of what to do for 2 students. After implementing this program, these students showed progress and gained confidence that was otherwise nonexistent. Chances are, your student's teachers are not certified to help students with dyslexia, just like I was. Investing in your child’s reading is the most important thing you can do as a parent. Let’s partner together to get your child reading!

Structured, engaging, and explicit phonics instruction made simple! I use the Wilson curriculum and Orton-Gillingham inspired teaching practices to make phonics instruction tangible for any learner. I provide students with Dyslexia specific teaching methods in order to be successful! Wilson is a tried and true program that has shown success for decades! Your learner will be engaged through 1 on 1 activities that increase phonological processing skills, one substep at a time.
