About Mia
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and have been teaching voice since 2017. Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners—from beginners developing their voices to performers preparing for auditions or live shows. My training in classical, pop, and contemporary vocal techniques helps me meet students where they are, musically and personally. My approach to teaching singing is encouraging, focused, and adaptive. I help students find their authentic sound while supporting vocal health, confidence, and creativity. Whether someone wants to explore singing as a hobby or pursue it professionally, I provide structured lessons with flexibility to keep learning engaging and effective. I am passionate about sharing the joy of singing and helping individuals express themselves through music. I believe that everyone has a voice worth developing and sharing, and my goal is to unlock that potential through personalized instruction, patient guidance, and a positive, motivating environment.

Every lesson begins with vocal warm-ups and breathwork to build stamina, control, and tone. I focus on posture, breathing from the diaphragm, and proper vocal placement to ensure healthy vocal habits from the beginning. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to revisit fundamentals, the first stage focuses on laying a strong foundation through technique and confidence-building.
As students progress, we explore dynamics, phrasing, vocal agility, and resonance. I use a wide range of vocal exercises and song selections across styles to match the student’s voice type and personal interests. Sight-singing, ear training, and pitch matching are gradually introduced to refine musicality and accuracy while performing.
Advanced lessons go deeper into interpretation, performance readiness, and stylistic choices. We may work on vibrato control, harmonization, improvisation, or mic technique for contemporary singers. Whether preparing for auditions, live shows, or personal growth, lessons are adapted to individual goals, with feedback focused on both artistry and technique.
