About Piper
I am a singing tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. My passion lies in helping students build vocal confidence, overcome performance anxiety, and connect deeply with the songs they sing. I believe that every voice has a story to tell, and I guide my students in discovering theirs. I teach a variety of styles, including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship, tailoring each lesson to the student’s unique goals and interests. Breath control, expressive phrasing, and vocal health are central to my approach, ensuring students develop both strength and sustainability in their singing. I also provide live performance coaching, helping students step onto the stage with presence and assurance. Over the years, I’ve worked with shy beginners who needed encouragement, teen performers eager to grow, and aspiring recording artists refining their craft. I meet each student where they are and give them the tools to move forward with confidence. My teaching is both technical and creative, balancing structure with inspiration. I want students to not only master skills but also enjoy the process of exploring their voices. Finding your voice is a powerful journey, and I am here to make that journey exciting, rewarding, and deeply fulfilling.

My approach to singing lessons is centered on helping students find their voice with clarity, confidence, and expression. For beginners, especially adults who may feel hesitant, I create a welcoming space where they can explore their sound without pressure. I emphasize pitch perfection through targeted exercises, ensuring students build accuracy step by step. For those preparing to step into solo roles, I focus on refining expressiveness and stage confidence, so they can truly connect with their audience.
Different song styles play a big role in my teaching. Classical pieces help train breath control and precision, while pop and jazz encourage freedom, improvisation, and emotional connection. By exploring varied genres, students develop versatility and discover what resonates most with their voice.
Technology is an essential tool in my lessons. I use recording software to let students hear their progress and pinpoint areas to refine. Ear training apps build listening skills, while pitch correction tools provide real-time feedback to guide improvement. These tools, combined with traditional vocal exercises, ensure steady growth.
My ultimate goal is to help students not only sing with technical skill but also with passion and confidence. Whether it’s the beginner finding their footing or the aspiring soloist preparing for the spotlight, I tailor my lessons to unlock their full potential.
