About Niall
I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience helping students find and strengthen their voice. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music, and my teaching is rooted in both solid technique and musical creativity. I specialize in Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country styles, offering students a wide range of vocal possibilities. My lessons are a mix of ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to support well-rounded growth. I believe that learning to sing isn’t just about hitting the right notes—it’s about understanding music deeply and expressing yourself with confidence. Each student is different, so I tailor my approach to their voice, goals, and pace. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for performances, I focus on developing strong vocal technique and performance presence. I help students connect their breath, body, and tone, while also encouraging musical curiosity. Improvisation and harmony work bring creativity into the room, and music theory builds lasting understanding. I create a supportive and structured environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and making progress. Singing should be joyful and empowering, and that’s the kind of experience I aim to offer every student.

My singing lessons for orchestra members and crossover artists are rooted in building strong music literacy and confident sight-singing. We begin with notation reading—understanding key signatures, rhythms, and melodic shapes—so the score becomes a clear guide, not a mystery. Interval training helps connect what they see on the page to what they hear in their mind and sing with their voice.
Rhythm exercises, both vocal and body-based, sharpen internal timing and ensemble accuracy. We work regularly on harmony building, whether it's blending in an orchestral setting or navigating genre shifts in crossover styles. For both personas, I focus on strengthening the ear-mind-voice connection, which is essential for accuracy and musical expression.
I use sight-singing apps, rhythm trainers, and digital notation tools to make practice more interactive and measurable. These tools help students track progress and stay engaged between sessions. Through steady, focused practice, orchestra members become more precise and responsive within their sections. Crossover artists gain flexibility and fluency when switching between musical styles.
Each lesson supports growth with a balance of technical training and musical exploration. I aim to build confidence and independence in every singer, one phrase and one interval at a time.
