Among the topics that those who want to learn to play guitar are curious; the duration of the training and how long it can be learned to play the instrument. Training time is a different process for everyone and depends on many personal variables. These variables are; The student's interest and love for music can be exemplified by the time he can devote to exercises, his social environment and so on. Therefore, it is very difficult to give a clear answer regarding time. However, I think the next paragraph will be useful in terms of giving an idea and instrument training that will be very difficult, will require a long time or is very easy, will end in a month or two. Let's imagine that we are in a friendly environment, such as a birthday celebration; One of the guests brought guitar with him and starts playing. After a few songs, we listen admiringly, it plays very well. In the meantime, we wonder and ask: - How long have you been playing? Actually, we have an idea; he's probably been playing for years. So, does the answer “I've been playing for two months” satisfy you? Do you believe this? Probably you will not believe, you would think he was kidding you. However, good results can be achieved in a few months with the right timing and efficient working pace. At this point, however, it is necessary to distinguish between instrument playing and instrument playing. In a very short time, familiar melodies coming from your guitar will sound closer and fun than the endless finger exercises. This situation can be compared to the fact that a four-year-old child speaks his mother tongue very well and cannot read or write although he understands what is said. In one of my mixed group lessons with different levels of students, one of my students saw me that an advanced student was doing finger exercise with him: “Sir! Why do the girls compose beautifully, why are you still doing finger exercise? ” When he asked, my answer is: he plays a very nice ball in Ronaldo, but he runs straight in training, it was. Of course, we do not expect our students who come to the course for hobby purposes to work as if they will be world-famous artists, but if we compare the concept of music to the ocean, playing only songs without hearing the notes, and swimming on the shore. But; If we determine the instrument as the goal of learning the musical note with musical notes and reading the note put in front of us, we have a sail that we can ride and travel whenever we want. Since we will have the helm, we can open as much as we want. Music is a great tool for expressing emotions and thoughts. Every song we listen to consists of the experiences, dreams, emotions and thoughts of a composer. If we show enough patience to the instrument and learn it with its notes, we will acquire a captain of our own ship, a tool that we can express our feelings and thoughts as we wish, a true friend and confidant with whom we understand and speak his language.
