Find a private French tutor in Italy

Learning French on your own is entirely possible with the right approach and consistent effort.

• Build vocabulary daily: Learn the 1,000 most common French words, they cover the vast majority of everyday conversation.
• Master the basics of grammar: Study essential grammar concepts early, including the present tense, common irregular verbs, and gendered articles.
• Practice listening and speaking: Listening to authentic French content trains your comprehension and improves your accent over time.
• Read and write in French: Writing short paragraphs or keeping a journal in French helps cement what you've learned and reveals gaps to address.

While self-study takes discipline, working with a private tutor, even occasionally, can dramatically accelerate your progress by correcting mistakes early.
