Math is not hard. If you're willing to use imagination and logic, math becomes fun and exciting like solving puzzles. My job is to make you see that!

About the lesson
I'm here to teach you quantitative thinking, problem solving and building foundational understanding.
I have over 12 years of experience teaching STEM courses. I encourage students to experiment, fail and make mistakes, which is often the best ways to learn.
My goal is to help you clearly understand the concepts and then learning how to apply the concepts to solve problems.

I have a double bachelors in Physics and Computer Science, an MS in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Neuroscience. I've taught a whole bunch of math classes from linear algebra, probability theory to coding. My mantra is to keep things simple and learn by having fun. I am a passionate crusader against rote learning and memorization. Everything has a story, even numbers and equations and programming languages. Learn why they are what they are, and how they do what they do, and learning becomes easy!!
Perfect! Ron is very dedicated in teaching his students at their pace. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about math and physics. Real world examples on how math is applicable in everyday life. Its not about formulas with Ron, it's about understanding how and when to use mathematics in real world situations. Very incredible academic professional. 10/10
- Ranit's response : Joanna is sincere and dedicated and bot afraid of challenges.
I wish Joanna all the best for her future.
Perfect! Conscientious, receptive, attentive.
Perfect! I love his teaching method. Nothing like a school. In college, I received B+ from calc 101, and still I am experiencing great deal of difficulties with some basic math (just some, not all). Now I am learning math all over again, and I am loving it. I learned more in one class with him than I did in few months in school. AWESOME.
- Ranit's response : It has been a joy to teach Alenka. She is an ideal math student in so many ways. She is driven by curiosity, not afraid to think for herself, open to trying out problems and most of all, she seems to be driven by the pure joy of learning and understanding. She is also helping me improve as a teacher. I look forward to our lessons each week!
