About Jack

Berkeley grad who decided to make a major career shift after working in environmental finance after graduation. Because I did not know I was going to go to law school during undergrad, I did not choose an easy undergraduate major to maximize my GPA and instead took a difficult course of study which hurt my grade point average. To stand out and get scholarships from good law schools, I needed to get a high LSAT score to offset my comparatively low GPA.

Drilling, drilling, drilling. I believe there is functionally no better way to master the LSAT than answering questions and diving right in. After doing 1000s of questions, it became quite clear to me that these questions all have a specific pattern, and that with time you'll be able to figure out exactly what the test is looking for.

Ideally, test-takers should never lift up their pencil one time during the exam. There is no time for diagramming, or jotting notes. With each section being a meager 35 minutes, any second spent writing is a second wasted. Finishing the test with time to spare is necessary to go back and fix unsure answers: the way to get a 170+ on the exam.
