About Sharez
Helping someone develop their knowledge and skills to succeed has a buzz to it that has rarely been matched by my other pursuits.
I have been tutoring since I was at university, and during my professional career in finance I have spent a lot of time training others and also helping people grasp complex concepts using a variety of techniques.
I enjoy teaching any subject-matter that I am qualified for and always have a unique lesson in store for my students.

In short: Focus on grasping concepts through explanation and example, then setting exercises of staggered difficulty, focussed worked examples with the student to illustrate best practise and then practicing exam style questions as well as past papers.
The longer answer: It all starts with the student, every person has individual needs and responds better to certain methods than others. I understand this and make sure I not only tailor my approach to the student, but also develop their ability to learn in different ways (which is a key life skill at university and professional level). I will set out a learning plan that will cover the syllabus, but edit as the student requests - putting more emphasis on areas that need more attention.
I have always found that having a variety of teaching methods helps keep the concentration of the student and produces better results.
I am always open to suggestions on how I can really help the student reach their full potential, giving them the confidence and tools to not only succeed in their exams, but also in their future endeavours.
