About Ben

I am currently working as a Graduate Scientist with emphasis at the moment on data science. I graduated my masters in 2023 with a first in theoretical physics at the University of Nottingham and I am interested in tutoring up to A level. I can work flexible hours but most importantly I enjoy teaching and I hope this shows in my lessons. I have tutored GCSE and A level students, both online and in person, I know I can help any prospective student whether it is in grasping the topic or achieving a top mark.

About the lesson

All of us students know that exams can be stressful! My lessons can range from: Targeted Exam prep, honing skills with harder problems, or just solidifying the basics. Ultimately I believe that these lessons can help you feel more confident, better prepared and hopefully calmer about exams. I like to teach through problem solving. In my experience it is the best way to highlight specific areas and challenge your understanding of the topics. I enjoy tutoring and I'm happy to tailor my lesson to you, I want my students to feel that we can communicate openly about what is best.

Perfect! Ben is an incredible tutor. He was always prepared for the lessons, never late, he's very friendly and approachable. He has explained difficult physics concepts in a way no one has explained to me before. His understanding, knowledge and teaching skills are exceptional. His lessons are helpful and enjoyable. In a very short time, he's managed to help me improve in my A-level studies by a few grades. I would strongly recommend his lessons to anyone who needs help with physics or maths.
