About Beck
I am a Senior Data Scientist who works weekdays from 9-5. As a former quant, I am someone who uses a high degree of mathematics on a daily basis when working on financial models. Therefore, it is imperative that I keep up to date with the latest mathematical advancements and topics in the field. As a results, I am an associate member of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications IMA.
I have been programming for over 10 years now, using Python, R, SAS, SQL, C and C++.

As a PASS mentor and student organiser, I have taught university level mathematics for both single and joint honour degrees across the mathematics department.
