About Asma
I am a first-year medical student who struggled at school with teachers who didn't know how to teach efficiently according to my way of learning. I ended up teaching myself most of my A-Level content and wanted someone that could explain difficult concepts as well as advise me generally on revision techniques and give inside tips on how to manage it all. This is why I have decided to tutor, as I put in the hard work of learning not just the content but also how to study and manage my time as someone who also completed an 8-year Islamic Theology & Arabic course alongside school, GCSEs & A-Levels, and would like to help other students who are struggling by passing on some of the tips and advice I learned the hard way during my studies.

I ensure students understand the content through various methods tailored to the student such as visual learning, before moving onto to test their active recall and improve their exam technique by working on practise questions. I have previously tutored GCSE physics and helped students to improve their grades by working through practise exam questions together, marking them and offering feedback and support. I offer A level biology tutoring and tutoring for all sciences at GCSE level. I also offer 1-1 medical school application mentoring which includes personal statement guidance, interview practise as well as help and advice on juggling exams with applications.
