About Anna

I’m Anna, a working artist and art instructor with 25+ years of experience in drawing and painting. What started a few years ago as mentoring a handful of students on the side has grown into my full-time mobile art instruction business. My artwork has been recognized through the RAW Artists show and the Disney Creative Challenge, and I’ve also served as an Ambassador for the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce. Today, I’m excited to bring personalized, high-quality art instruction directly to students throughout Orange County.

About the lesson

Traditionally trained in drawing, oil, watercolor, acrylic, and pastels. With over 25+ years of experience in fine arts. All levels and ages (8+ to adults). I can teach you the very basics of painting/drawing to advanced techniques. Also, concepts like perspective drawing, color theory, and layout design. I am a working artist, but also have a mobile art tutoring/mentoring division of my business. I believe its the duty of all master artists to pass the knowledge of technique and skills to future generations in which we were originally taught. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Perfect! Anna is a great Tutor. She's very thoughtful, always plans well with her sessions and gets alignment with me beforehand. She's very reliable, always arrives on time and gives notifications for any changes. She's always well prepared with the materials needed for each session. Her class is really fun. My son loves to draw together with Anna, learn and laugh together.

Anna is patient and detailed, starting you off with the basics so that each skill can build on the next. My confidence to do things on my own has grown so much, and I’m so grateful I can text Anna for help anytime. I have loved bringing crochet back into my life and very grateful to Anna!

Anna taught my 9 year old daughter the basics of crochet and once she mastered that, Anna taught her even more! My daughter was able to make some stuffies, an iPad case, and she has so many more ideas in the near future. I learned a ton just by watching her, I'm so so thankful to have had her!!!
