About Toby
I am attending the University of British Columbia this fall and would love to teach students this summer about the joys of piano performance before I leave. I have lots of piano experience as stated previously, but I also have experience playing orchestral percussion for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra, and Maryland All State band. Overall, my life has been immersed in music since I was a young child and I can't wait to share my knowledge with others.

I have 11 years of piano playing experience in both classical and jazz piano. I connect with younger students especially well as I know what it is like to learn piano at a young age. I hope to teach students to not only play piano pieces, but also to love playing piano and improvising on their own.
