About Corina
Hi future student! I am a dedicated math tutor with over 200 hours of teaching experience, and I can't wait to meet you. My lessons are designed to be engaging and tailored to every student's (including your) learning style. I like to use digital whiteboards for lessons as well as worksheets and games. As a student, I understand the challenges students face in learning, allowing me to adapt my teaching approach to be fun and interactive. I hope that our classes stem beyond basic learning and that I can create a welcoming space where learning becomes fun. A few fun facts about me:
- I love drawing and playing badminton
- My favourite foods are sushi and udon.
- Sometimes to pass the time, I also play games and hang out with friends!

A passionate tutor with over 200 hours of teaching math, I am someone who has experience and can relate to a child's learning style. My classes mainly work on a digital whiteboard with the addition of interactive worksheets and activities. Each lesson aims to explore a mathematical topic interestingly. As a student, I fully understand the struggles of learning, therefore, allowing me to enhance my teaching style to fit that of the student. Furthermore, I volunteer as the human resource manager for a peer tutoring program in which I am tasked with hiring tutors. This role has enhanced my understanding of not only students but what is expected of a tutor. Moreover, I won the YIV Peer Tutor Contribution award in 2022 and have a math level of AP Calculus. My classes will be held online for students in K-9 math with no other prerequisites.
