Perfect! Your teaching methods are very beginner friendly. I began with very little knowledge of Chinese sentence structure and tone pronouncation. In a short peroid of time, I have developed my knowledge of verbs and basic sentences. The consistent homework allows me to catch up/ reinforce any concepts learnt throughout the pervious lesson. Through the usage of voicenotes my pronouncation continues to improve. I aim to become a competent Chinese speaker and through your lessons I believe I will achieve that.

Leon's response
Even though we haven't had many classes, you've learned a lot because you focus in class and do your homework. Your grammar and sentence structure are especially good. Going forward, let's focus more on speaking — pronunciation, rhythm, and also learn more about Chinese culture so you can talk with native speakers more easily

Perfect! Leon is a very patient and excellent teacher. If he notices I’m struggling with a sound, he always finds a clear example of a word that uses it, which makes it much easier to understand and remember.

A friend recommended Leon to me for my 10-year-old son to learn Chinese. Leon has been incredibly patient, encouraging, and professional throughout the lessons. He explains concepts clearly and adapts his teaching style to keep my son engaged and motivated. I’ve seen great improvement in both my son’s confidence and language skills. Leon is reliable, always well-prepared, and communicates well with both students and parents. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and effective tutor.
