About Nancy
Performing for 9 years in acoustic sets across the American South has given me a deep understanding of vocal health and care. Having worked with 209 students including teens and intermediate learners, I know how to manage head and chest voice effectively. My degree from USC in Popular Music provides the technical foundation for teaching diction, articulation, and advanced belting technique. I often use sight singing and warm-up exercises to build confidence in my students.
Returning learners find that my practical style makes vocal range extension feel achievable and logical. I enjoy helping people refine their sound through careful exam preparation. There is no mystery to a good performance when you have the right tools.

Feedback happens the moment you finish your first phrase. We start with a quick warm up to check your vocal health. I apply the same techniques I used while gigging for 13 years.
We address your specific needs regarding belting or diction. My degree from USC informs how I explain complex anatomy. I keep the pace brisk and the tone encouraging.
You learn to extend your range safely. Everything is broken down into small, digestible parts. We focus on progress over perfection. The actual act of singing becomes a joy.
