About Wren
I feel very fortunate to have already had such a variety of exciting musical experiences by the age of 22. I started my musical journey in a local community Samba band in Liverpool, and am now playing across London with numerous bands and recording as an independent multi-instrumentalist. However, it is down to the lessons I've learnt in a range of different environments that I owe such opportunities.
Through being encouraged to value the liberty of mistakes, the social power of music, and the importance of exploring creatively, I have been able to use music to find my voice in times of personal struggle.
I look forward to using our lessons as a way to get to know you and develop our skills together!

I am generally interested in fostering a love for music and creativity; I hope to simply give you some tools, inspiration, and the space to find out where you would like to take that!
I focus on groove, improvisation, and musical confidence.
My approach to teaching is informed through my academic and practical experience; I have both lead workshops and taught 1on1 lessons in various contexts which has given me confidence in my broad understanding of music that I wish to transfer to those interested.
I aim to work with beginner-intermediate musicians any age up to 16; or those who are older and have felt discouraged about the way music is taught and wish to engage in a more healthy environment.
The sessions can be felxible, starting at 30mins to up to 2 hours.
