About Ryan

An active Earth Scientist with a B.S. in Ocean Science from UC Santa Cruz and the Founder of Send It Sunny Surf Company with over 15 years of surfing and ocean expertise! Expect coaching that will lead to a lifetime of confidence, fitness, and friendships! CPR Certified and Emergency Prepared! I will be next to you the whole time!

About the lesson

I have wetsuits, longboards, and shortboards of all sizes so don’t worry if you don’t have gear or want to try out multiple surfboards! Expect a healthy surf practice consisting of paddling 70% of time, 20% resting, and surfing 10%, unless you are good then we are hamster wheeling and you are sponsored by Send It Sunny!
Beginners: We will surf Trails San O or your local ideal spot to maximize our health with clean ocean water and NO CROWDS! I guarantee you become a better surfer fastest with me!
Group Discount: +$50/hr/person
Advanced: Surf Safari Mode we score all the local hidden SoCal breaks (beach, rock, cobble, jetty, reef), high-performance surf coaching, free rides, and lifetime sponsorship by Send It Sunny! I guarantee you throw your air reverse and never tube dodge again!

Perfect! Had an awesome surfing lesson with Ryan! By the end I was surfing way better than the beginning of the lesson. Ge took me to probably the most beautiful surf spot I’d ever been to, and was so helpful with his advice. It was also fun to watch him catch waves because he’s so good. I definitely walked away feeling a lot more confident, the lesson was informative and most of all fun! Thanks Ryan!
