About Saskia
I’m currently midway through my university studies, and through this journey, I’ve come to better understand the points where I personally struggled with maths—challenges I hadn’t faced in school, where I achieved top grades (Grade 9 at GCSE and A* at A-Level). With the right support at university, I rebuilt my confidence and strengthened my understanding, and it’s that sense of clarity and self-belief I hope to pass on to my students. I truly believe that no one is "bad at maths"—they just haven’t found the learning style that works for them yet. That’s something I had to discover for myself, and it’s what shapes the way I teach. My goal is to help students feel capable and confident, not by simply showing them how to solve a problem, but by consistently adapting my teaching style until they feel they can do it on their own.

Hi! I’m currently on my summer break, which means I have a flexible schedule and can offer tutoring sessions at most times and lengths to suit your needs. Whether you're looking to build confidence, prepare for exams, or get help with tricky homework, I’m here to support you. I aim to help students not just understand the answers, but improve how they approach questions—so they gain the independence and confidence needed to succeed. Lessons often include follow-up questions or quizzes to reinforce learning and support revision. Students are welcome to bring areas they’re struggling with, specific assignments, or just general topics they’d like to strengthen. I’ve tutored maths to younger students while in school and have lots of experience working with children through babysitting and running kids’ clubs, so I’m confident in adapting my communication style to each student’s age and personality. Available for students from Year 7 up to A-Level. Flexible timing and lesson structure over the summer. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions!
