About Colum
My name is Colum. I am 19 years old and I am currently studying at NUI Galway to become a Computer & Electronic Engineer.
I've always been very interested in STEM subjects. My favorite subjects in school were Maths, Applied Maths, Physics & Engineering.
I received a minimum of an H2 in all of the subjects listed above, so I am sure I can help any student improve their grades.
I am a very curious person, who has been in your position before. So I know it can sometimes be difficult to ask certain questions that might seem too obvious. But I encourage all students to ask any questions they might have. As this is the most important aspect of learning.

I can cater to each student and provide them with a comfortable environment where there is no such thing as stupid questions.
Beginner tutor, with good knowledge of mathematics at all levels ranging from JC - 3rd level. However, I feel most comfortable tutoring younger students due to my lack of experience.
Sessions will be 1 hour long, with the possibility of going slightly over the time in order to avoid leaving questions half-answered.
I will come to each lesson prepared with material for the student to work on, as well as happily working through any questions the student is unsure of from school or exam papers.
I will NOT work on the student's homework with them until they have made their best attempt at it. As believe this ould subtract from their learning in the long term.
